With Sir Ken Robinson’s values at the core of our philosophy, we deeply believe that knowledge is acquired at all times, in the unlikeliest of places.
Our Arts program arguably one of the best in the city; led by a talented faculty and integrated by all teachers in their respective subjects.
We explore Mathematics and the natural sciences including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Sciences at a deep conceptual level, with great practical experimentation key to the learning process. Using the Cambridge International Examinations framework as a reference point, teachers build programs to foster curiosity, discovery and exploration. We encourage messy classrooms, and students can always be found conducting learning experiments. For formal work, our state-of-the-art laboratories are perfect spots for our students to expand their scientific learning and rational thought.
Our Hindi, French and Spanish language faculty are truly a global group, coming from all over the world to deliver an international school experience for our students. Our language programs examine the importance of language as a means of acquiring knowledge, and classes are engaging experiences that allow students to immerse themselves in the language and the culture it represents.
Information Technology and Computer Science are more than discrete subjects. While the program ensures that all our students go through specific skill building in the digital age, the faculty also bears a responsibility to develop a responsible, ethical and progressive mindset and learning approach for the entire community. The program develops amongst, other aspects, coding skills in contemporary programming languages and the use of software and hardware design for creativity and productivity.
Our Social Sciences and Literacy program is one of a kind and pioneering in many ways. It occupies a pivotal role in stimulating the holistic progress of our students to be responsible, good global citizens representing the past, present, and future of our society.
The Grade 6 program is the first in the world to use the history, geography, and society of a city (Mumbai) as its focus since its inception in 2012. The Grade 7 program explores Ancient Greek and Medieval Indian cultures simultaneously, through the lives of Alexander of Macedon and Akbar of India. Grade 8 leans into modern Indian history, connecting it with the world.
The program also incorporates elements of Theory of Knowledge, an IBDP core element that builds critical thinking skills. Students step out of their comfort zone during field trips and community outreach programs and use design thinking for real world projects impacting the community.
Physical Education is key to developing a healthy body and a healthy mind. Our basketball, capoeira, football and cricket facilities along with a dedicated faculty foster the correct approach and spirit to keep our students active and fit in a city life that keeps pushing back towards a more sedentary lifestyle.
