IBDP at B.D. Somani
B.D. Somani International School has a long-standing and productive collaboration with the International Baccalaureate Organisation. This collaboration has been possible because of the school and the IBO’s shared philosophy of encouraging students to be active, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
The B.D. Somani IB diploma program aims to enable and facilitate in high school students critical thinking, researching, communicating and time management skills, knowing that it helps them immensely in their university years.

Academic Fees
Grade 11: ₹6,10,000 per semester
Grade 12: ₹5,95,000 per semester
For AY 2024-2025
Other Fees To Consider
Parents are required to meet annual expenses towards:
- Stationery fees for notebooks, textbooks and materials
- Trips
- IB examinations
Fee Schedule
On accepting admission to B. D. Somani International School, the academic fees for Semester 1 are to be paid in advance at the time stipulated in the Admission Offer Letter. Thereafter, academic fees are paid in October for Semester 2 and March for Semester 1 of the following year.
Payments
All fees are to be paid in Indian rupees only, online using credit or debit cards or net banking, or by cheque in Mumbai.
If paying by cheque, payments in favour of ‘B.D. Somani International School’.
B.D. Somani University Guidance Office
The B.D. Somani University Guidance Office plays an integral role in providing bespoke counselling to each of our students, 100% of whom go on to attend colleges and universities around the world. We embrace a student-centred counselling approach that supports students in becoming the independent scholars that universities and future employers seek.
The College Guidance team has decades of experience and stays abreast of the latest developments and best practices in school counselling and university admissions. Our counsellors work closely with High School families, either individually or in groups, to help cultivate a sense of empowerment, independence, and direction toward students’ chosen futures. The department also publishes a bimonthly newsletter, “The High School Advisor”, which provides timely information aimed at demystifying the exciting career selection and university application processes.
