Monday Math – Lesson #21

Welcome back to #MondayMath once again.

We have been posing Math questions every Monday on our Facebook page. These are questions that our students also encounter in Mathematics classes at B.D. Somani.

Last week, the question was about objects and shapes. This week, you need to identify counterfeit coins.

We have 12 coins. Eleven are good coins; one is a counterfeit that weighs less or more than a good coin. Identify the counterfeit coin and its relative weight with a minimum number of weighings on a balance.
