Monday Math – Lesson #23

Primary School Mathematics

Welcome back to #MondayMath once again.

We have been posing Math questions every Monday on our Facebook page. These are questions that our students also encounter in Mathematics classes at B.D. Somani.

Last week, we asked for help using measuring jars.. This week, we are counting fruit.

Muthu had a total of 270 apples and oranges. He gave away ½ of his apples and 30 oranges to Shailaja. Then he found he had an equal number of apples and oranges left. How many apples did Muthu have at first?
