Monsoon Trips: Korigad Fort – IGCSE

The school monsoon trip was a memorable experience that combined teamwork, endurance, and a close connection with nature. The inter-house games, such as the house quiz, fostered collaboration and friendly competition as we worked together to try to be the best. These included the challenging but enjoyable activity of walking with our legs tied together, which helped us develop crucial skills like problem-solving and leadership.

The trek to Korigad fort was a challenging but rewarding journey. While it did test our physical stamina, it also allowed us to connect with nature and take a step away from our everyday lives. Personally, I believe the rain during the trek enhanced the overall experience of the monsoon trip. As we soaked through our clothes, we felt the true spirit of adventure, which was far from the comfort of our dry clothes at home. Walking in the rain, although unrelenting, alongside my friends was an experience I will never forget.
