As Dr. Geoffrey Fisher prepares to bid farewell to B.D. Somani International School, he reflects on his incredible journey as Head of School.
In his final vlog, Dr. Fisher shares heartfelt thoughts on his five-and-a-half years at the school. From strengthening B.D. Somani’s reputation as one of Mumbai’s—and India’s—top institutions to celebrating its dedicated faculty, improved infrastructure, and exceptional student achievements, his pride in the school’s progress shines through.
While leaving behind a thriving community and a committed leadership team, he emphasizes the importance of partnership—between students, families, and the school—for continued success.
Although his new role will take him away from day-to-day interactions with students, Dr. Fisher looks forward to staying connected, attending graduations, events, and plays, and watching B.D. Somani flourish from afar with a great sense of affection and pride.
Here’s to Dr. Fisher and the indelible mark he leaves on our school community.
We wish him the very best in his next chapter.
