Grade 7 had a fun-filled trip to Hyderabad from 27th Feb to 3rd March! We visited exciting places like Birla Science Center, Ramoji Film City, zoo, Weaver’s Village, Sudha Car Museum, Salar Jung Museum, Qutub Shahi Tombs, and Charminar. At the hotel, we played games, had a visit from Metamorphosis to learn about entrepreneurship, and a Talent Show. We laughed, cheered and created unforgettable memories!

Our young adults from Grade 11 visited the ‘Science Beyond Borders’ exhibition organized by Institut Français in collaboration with Consulat général de la France en Inde on 29th September. They learnt about the partnership between France and India: the exchanges between Indian mathematicians and French scholars that started from ancient times to the modern-day partnership in Nuclear Sciences. Interdisciplinary experiences such as these are crucial for the overall development of our students as IB learners.

The climate is changing and B.D. Somani students want to put their best foot forward to combat its dangers. The EMERALD sustainable foundation, CPRA, and MCGM Corporator, Ms. Harshita Narwekar, organised a tree plantation drive on the 5th of June 2022 – World Environment Day at CPRA Greens garden. Manshika and Lahar from Grade 11 and Mr. Siddhesh volunteered to highlight that small endeavours are the stepping stones to fighting against the environmental challenges we all face.
